Food Love: I grew up a child of the 70’s with a working mom who made dinner from a box. I didn’t know real food was prepared slowly and with intention until my dad started making old family recipes from his european past. My love for selecting natural ingredients, being creative in the kitchen, and eating real food began while watching him cook. I’ve always loved feeding people and making up recipes and I hope to encourage others to return to the simplicity of home-cooking and eating real food again. I believe what we choose to feed ourselves affects more than just our waistline; it reaches into our community, our relationships, and ultimately, into our soul.
Business Love: As a former executive in the corporate music industry, I understand how stressful and demanding a fast-paced career can be. I spent half of my time tearing down my body with late nights, alcohol, heavy restaurant foods, and mental stress and then trying to rebuild it with yoga, rest, working out, and eating healthy foods. I was always reaching in two different directions it seemed. Now my lifestyle is way more in alignment with my values. I am living what I believe, and I’m teaching others how to create a more balanced, nourished life. I attended the Intstitute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC to study holistic health and nutrition and am certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I have a Bachelors degree in communication from the University of Texas and am a certified RYT 200 yoga instructor.
